*The focuser may be easily unthreaded from the main tube for airline travel, shortening the main tube to only 21" (less than airline travel length). This does not affect alignment thanks to our precision machining and positive lock attachment. Now you can take your 5" apo refractor "down under" to see the southern skies without worrying about it.
