Dob side bearing/tensioning springs These parts may make your Dobsonian project easier. We have side bearings to fit several sizes of tubing and tensioning springs with mounting hardware. We have a finished Dobsonian base suitable for a 10" instrument. This will accept 12" aluminum tubing with side bearings. Dark finish with Teflon bearings.

Antares 4-vane spiders allow quick, precise mirror alignment for the elliptical flats. Constructed of rigid .062" steel vanes with brass receptors and cast into an aluminum hub, we can make a spider to fit any tube with an inside diameter between 7" and 24". The center screw adjusts the mirror height while the four perimeter screws adjust tilt. Available with either 1.3" or 1.8" hubs.
