Enjoy a wide-field window into the heavens served up by Ultima LX multicoated eyepieces. With a big field of 68° -- which means a 71% greater viewing area than that of a typical 52 degree Plossl.
Big lenses with Big glass for that "WOW factor" The Ultima LX features a 1.25"-diameter eye lens to look into with 20mm of eye relief, so you'll get the "big picture" even if you wear eyeglasses. Fit all eyepieces fit in both 1.25" and 2" focusers. Each is threaded for filters and comes with protective lens caps.

If you are looking for an eyepiece that excels for planetary viewing, then Celestron’s X-Cel offers the unique features you are looking for. A 6-element fully multi-coated optical design, the X-Cel utilizes extra low dispersion (ED) glass on its most highly curved surfaces, to minimize chromatic aberration that can hinder sharp planetary views. With a wide 55° apparent field of view, and a large 25mm clear aperture the X-Cel is one of the most comfortable eyepieces to use. Every X-Cel eyepiece is parfocal with each other, meaning little or no focusing is needed when changing from low to high power. The X-Cel comes with soft rubber eyecups and a durable plastic case. In addition, if you are an eyeglass wearer, you will enjoy the 20mm eye relief available on each of the X-Cel focal lengths. Threaded barrels accept 1-1/4" Celestron thread-in filters.

If you are looking to move up to a higher quality eyepiece the Omni series provides more enhanced features in a wider selection of focal lengths. Celestron designed this series with the finer points in mind so you, the user, can benefit from the features that make this series unique. The Omni is a 4 -element premium symmetrical Plossl optical design. Features include blackened lens edges to minimize internal reflection and maximize contrast, multi-layer coating group on each lens surface to maximize light transmission and contrast, and each Omni goes through a two-step anodizing process to prevent reflection from the top eyepiece barrel, unlike most other manufactures who use reflective surfaces. Threaded barrels accept 1-1/4" Celestron thread-in filters.

Celestron's Erect Image Diagonals are an Amici prism design. This design allows you to look into the telescope at a 45° angle, at images that are oriented properly, meaning the image is upright and correct from left to right. Use of Celestron’s .96" to 1-1/4" 45° Erect Image Diagonal on a telescope equipped with .96" eyepieces means greater versatility. This diagonal will allow you to use 1-1/4" eyepieces, to obtain a larger field of view and better eye relief. A 90° 1-1/4" Erect Image Diagonal is available for those who prefer that angle.
A Star Diagonal lets you view objects that are at a 90° angle from the direction the telescope is pointing, thereby allowing comfortable viewing when the telescope is pointed at, or near, the zenith (i.e. directly overhead). The resulting image is right side up, but will be reversed from left to right.
2 Inch Diagonal This high quality 90-degree multicoated mirror diagonal allows you to take advantage of the wider field of view provided by 2" eyepieces. A much higher quality than standard diagonals, it fits all rear cells of Schmidt-Cassegrains (comes standard with CGE 1400). Includes an adapter to accept 1 1/4" eyepieces and an adapter to use with refractor telescopes.
