The W70 series eyepieces offer extra field and extra eye relief without sacrificing image quality. Many observers don't like having their eye too close to the eyepiece, on average, the W70 series oculars have an eye relief of 15mm. The Orthoscopic eyepiece is a legend in planetary observing. This 4-element design incorporates a triplet field lens for reduced aberration , and with internal multicoating, it achieves images of the highest contrast. A slip-on rubber eyeshield is standard , and the barrels are threaded for standard filters. This 45 degree design will work well in any scope above f/5, and is available in high power focal lengths only, because that's what orthoscopics are for!

The 6-Element Erfle has a renowned reputation for providing wide, expansive, flat-field images. If your telescope has a 2" focuser, these eyepieces will deliver crisp, high contrast and stunningly wide views of the heavens. Recommended for scopes with a focal ratio above F/6. Standard features include 2" barrels threaded for standard filters, fully mulitcoated design, edge blackened lenses, rubber grips and fold-down rubber eye shield. All models have luxurious eye relief and have apparent fields of 65 degrees. If you have high F-ratio, the Erfle 32mm is available with 70 degrees. If that isn't enough, get the 8-element Modified Erfle 30mm: just about the widest view possible with the 2" format.

Antares has three illuminated etched-glass reticle eyepieces for guiding your telescope at high power. Kellner12mm and Plossl 10mm models feature filter threaded barrels, dust caps, slip-on eyeshield and helically focused double-cross reticle. The Kellner 27mm version comes with dust caps, fixed eyeshield and helically focused red-disc reticle. All have 1.25" barrels and variable intensity illuminator. Batteries included.

Barlow lenses are negative elements which increase the effective focal length of the objective. When used with an eyepiece, the magnifying power is multiplied with virtually no optical penalty. In fact the benefits are substantial, the spherical aberration of the exit pupil is reduced, and you get the luxury of the extra eye relief afforded by a longer focal length eyepiece. If you have a Newtonian telescope, or a short-focus refractor, this is absolutely the first accessory you should buy.
Antares B2S, B2T have a fully coated achromatic design and will double the magnification of any eyepiece. Both feature a clear aperture of 22mm and a short design that enable its use in any telescope, even those that use a diagonal. Antares UB2S/UB3S
Antares UB5S/UB3S high performance Barlows feature 27mm elements and fullly-muliticoated achromatic design. Available in both 5x and 3x, These short designs will work in diagonals, have internal darkening and edge-blackened lenses, and are parfocal with most eyepieces. Suitable for high contrast, high power applications in any telescope.
Antares Diagonals has diagonals for all applications for your 0.965" or 1.25" telescope as well as hybrids to make the conversion. There are prism diagonals for 45 or 90 degree correct image as well as mirror and prism star diagonals. All feature threaded, chrome plated brass barrels and fully coated optical components.
If you have a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) or refractor telescope with 2" capacity and are using regular or enhanced aluminum coatings with your diagonal, your transmission will be between 88% and 98% over the visual spectrum. You're throwing light away! And if you are using a 1.25" diagonal with a 2" format, you're missing out on your telescope's widefield performance.
All Antares 2" diagonals feature enhanced silver coatings with a visual light efficiency of over 98%. Your image is conveniently delivered with virtually no light loss at all. There are five models available for both straight 2" bores and for standard 50mm thread Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes. All feature 6-layer enhanced silver coatings with overcoating protection and include 1.25" adapter.

We stock mechanical adapters for most telescope applications, some of which are seen here. Eyepiece adapters, camera adapters and SCT adapters are just part of the repertoire. All are constructed of precision machined black-anodized aluminum with nickel-chrome plated brass barrels when applicable.
Laser Collimater Collimation, or optical alignment, is critical for the performance of all aspheric systems. Our laser collimator incorporates a viewing port that allows you to see the reflected beam. Simply insert the device into your 1.25" focuser and adjust the optics until the return spot superimposes on the beam. Check for both high and low focuser positions.
